- Fire & abandon-ship drills: monthly (within 24 h of leaving port if >25% of crew changed).
- Each lifeboat launched & manoeuvred in water: every 3 months.
- Enclosed-space entry & rescue drills: every 2 months.
- Emergency steering drills: every 3 months (SOLAS V/26).
